02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

The IJFC aim to allow the opportunity for people in the Ross-Shire area to be involved in football. Opportunities are available for all school age children from p1 to U16’s to attend coaching sessions on a weekly basis throughout the school term. In addition to this the young people are given the chance to play in competitions and league games. Individuals are invited to attend irrespective of sex, race or religion and are given the opportunity to learn football skills from trained coaches. Parents and committee members actively get involved in the running of the club, help during events & fundraising and any other tasks where assistance is required. Coaches are developed and trained to ensure that the lessons are fun and challenging while teaching key football skills.
