02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The IJFC aim to allow the opportunity for people in the Ross-Shire area to be involved in football. Opportunities are available for all school age children from p1 to U16’s to attend coaching sessions on a weekly basis throughout the school term. In addition to this the young people are given the chance to play in competitions and league games. Individuals are invited to attend irrespective of sex, race or religion and are given the opportunity to learn football skills from trained coaches. Parents and committee members actively get involved in the running of the club, help during events & fundraising and any other tasks where assistance is required. Coaches are developed and trained to ensure that the lessons are fun and challenging while teaching key football skills.

Constitutional objectives
To promote the benefit of young people aged 25 or under resident in Easter Ross without distinction of sex, sexuality, political, religious or other opinions by associating the local statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance eduaction and to provide facilities, or assist in the provision of facilities, in the interest of social welfare for recreation and other leisure-time occupation so that their condition of life may be improved.
