02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

The Charity is set up to further piping and drumming and the art of pipe band performance in the greater Dundee area. It does this through regular weekly practice where the band plays and teaches. The band maintains standards through registration and regular competitions managed by the Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association. It wears full highland dress as well as a less formal highland dress wearing the Ancient Mackenzie tartan,
