What the charity exists to do
The Trust endeavours to maintain and enhance the Memorial Cairn to McCrae's Battalion at Contalmaison in France and the surrounding area.

Constitutional objectives
The Trustees shall hold the Trust Fund and the income of it to pay and apply the same to or for the benefit of or in furtherance of such purposes, objects or institutions charitable in law and in such proportions and manner as the Trustees shall think fit. In exercising their discretion in terms of this Clause the Trustees shall, where reasonably possible, give primary consideration to providing history education and, in doing so, endeavour to commemorate the sacrifice of the 16th (Service) Battalion of the Royal Scots Regiment.
