02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

Andie Millar's Trust provides grants to organisations and individuals to be spent in and for the benefit of Pitlochry and District, for a project or purpose that furthers at least one of the Trust's purposes. Applications are invited by 31st May each year. Generally, the Trustees will be able to provide donations of up to £2,500 each.

Constitutional objectives

The purpose for which the Trust is established is to apply the income thereof to or for any one or more of the following in Pitlochry and District as the Trustees may in their absolute discretion from time to time decide, namely: (i)the advancement of education (ii)the advancement of citizenship or community development (iii)the advancement of the arts, heritage, culture or science (iv)the advancement of public participation in sport (v)the provision of recreational facilities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities are primarily intended. (vi)the advancement of environmental protection or improvement and/or (vii)the relief of those in need by reason of age, ill -health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage
