02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
To provide facilities for development of recreation and other leisure time activities for the public at large. The trust has developed and expanded the the community youth centre and fitted the MUGA with floodlights. We continue to maintain these facilities and upgrade and replace our equipment to ensure that the facility continues to be usable and attractive to the community to use. We also run and support sports clubs to use the facilities.

The relief of unemployment in such ways as may be thought fit, including assistance to source unemployment To promote and develop training and education among the residents of Port William, and with particular reference to developing skills which will assist in participants obtaining employment To preserve, for the benefit of the general public, the historical, architectural and constructional heritage that may exist in Port William in buildings of particular beauty or historical and architectural interest To provide in the interests of social welfare, facilities within the Port William community for development of recreation and other leisure time occupation available to the public at large To preserve, restore and improve the natural and built environment in the Port William area through the provision, maintenance and improvement of public open spaces and other public amenities and other environmental and regeneration projects
