02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

The purpose of the charity is to make payment for the relief of persons, particularly children in South Africa in need by reason of ill health, disabilities, financial hardship or other disadvantage, and in particular, and for as long as it exists to provide such services, to support the Amakhasi Clinic, South Africa in order that it may continue to provide nursing and health care services in such manner and in such shares and proportions and at such times as the Trustees shall in their sole discretion from time to time decide. The charity contributes funds towards the cost of wages for nurses and carers at the Amakhasi Clinic.

Constitutional objectives

For payment or application of the income of the Trust Fund or such part of it as the Trustees shall from time to time in their sole discretion decide and for payment or application of the capital of the Trust Fund or such part of it as the Trustees shall from time to time in their sole discretion decide (all whether in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland or elsewhere in the world) and in accordance with charity law, for the relief of persons, particularly children in South Africa in need by reason of ill health, disabilities, financial hardship or other disadvantage, and in particular, and for as long as it exists to provide such services, to support the Amakhasi Clinic, South Africa in order that it may continue to provide nursing and health care services in such manner and in such shares and proportions and at such times as the Trustees shall in their sole discretion from time to time decide.
