02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
We are set up to try and improve the lifes of those who need it most in North Edinburgh, we operate as a social enterprise, reinvesting any profits from our facility rental, coaching and hospitality services back into the Foundation to help fund our community programmes. When you sign up your kids for coaching, hire our facilities or simply have a cup of coffee in our café, you are helping us support others in North Edinburgh. We deliver a multitude of youth work, educational and community programmes both at our facility and in schools.

Constitutional objectives
3.1 Promote the benefit of the inhabitants of North Edinburgh being that area representing the local authority wards within the area of the City of Edinburgh Council comprising Wards 7, 9 and 10 (the 'Community') without distinction of sex, sexuality, political and religious or other opinions by associating the local statutory authorities, voluntary organisations an inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities, or assist in the provision of facilities, in the interest of social welfare for recreation and other leisure time occupation so that their conditions of life may be improved, 3.2 promote for the benefit of residents of the Community, community participation in healthy recreation by the provision and management of community facilities for playing particular sports.
