02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

Our charity is set up to provide education to students from both the UK and internationally. As a boarding school we employ 387 staff to support us to achieve our goal which includes teaching staff, teaching support staff, catering, domestic services, maintenance and administration staff. As well as providing education we provide boarding facilities for young people and also offer a co-curricular educations.

Constitutional objectives

1.The Company's objects are: (a) To provide at Gordonstoun, Elgin in the County of Moray and at such other schools and educational facilities in the UK and internationally as may from time to time be determined, education in all such branches and facilities.
