To advance and promote the education of the general public, without distinction of sex or of political, religious or other opinions by bringing together, holding, adequately housing, maintaining, preserving, conserving and documenting a collection of buses, coaches, trams or other means or methods of public conveyance and/or their means of operation and any other equipment, machines, engines or contraptions or anything ancillary or related to, or which would be of interest alongside, any of the foregoing and being of historical, artistic scientific, regional or local importance ('the Collection')
