What the charity exists to do
Provide horicultural education to members and the community through two annual horticultural shows and other meetings. Engage and support local children through involvement in the shows and supporting activities of a horticultural nature in local schools.

Constitutional objectives
Objects: the promotion of Horticulture in all its branches, by running a spring and summer Horticultural Exhibition and Competition, by encouraging school children to take part in the Society’s shows by providing guidance on the Show Schedule and by providing schools with plant materials, by running bus trips to mainland horticultural shows.
