02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
RAISE FINANCE FOR BOTH CAPITAL PROJECTS AND GENERAL RUNNING COSTS. PROVIDE FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR TEACHING SUPPORT THROUGH PURCHASE OF EQUIPMENT. ENCOURAGE IMPROVED CROP AND ANIMAL HUSBANDRY ON THE FARM. ENSURE MACHINERY IS WELL MAINTAINED. THROUGH SUPPORT FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS MAKE NSERESTER LESS RELIANT ON OUTSIDE FINANCE AND BECOME SELF SUSTAINING. MASAKA IS THE TOWN WHERE THE SCHOOL IS LOCATED.IN 2024 THE MASAKA RECEIVED CITY STATUS. THE AUTHORITIES DECLARED THAT THE SCHOOL BUILDINGS WERE NOT OF THE STANDARD REQUIRED AND WOULD NEED TO BE PULLED DOWN. DETERMINED THAT THIS WOULD NOT HAPPEN THE SCHOOL BOARD ARE DETERMINED TO REPAIR AND REBUILD TO ENABLE THE SCHOOL TO PROVIDE A VOCATIONAL EDUCATION TO THE MOST NEEDY. ACTIVITY THIS YEAR. IN NOVEMBER 2024 £12500 WAS DONATED AS A CONTRIBUTION TO REBUILD THE MAIN SCHOOL BUILDING. A FURTHER £600 WAS GIVEN BY A DONOR SPECIFICALLY FOR A CHRISTMAS PARTY IN DECEMBER
