02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

We support RAF veterans and serving members of the Royal Air Force, whether this be financially, socially, through befriending and welfare support groups. To ensure we are able to support our members, we fundraise throughout the year to provide the necessary funds to enable us to do this. The funds raised enable support to be provided both nationally and internationally, as some of our veterans and personnel live or serve abroad.

The object for which the Association is established is to promote, through the comradeship engendered by its members, the welfare by charitable means of all serving and former members of Our Air Forces, their spouses and dependants, together with the widows and widowers and dependants of those who died whilst serving or subsequently.
