Constitutional objectives
The objects of the Institution (hereinafter referred to as 'the objects') shall continue to be to promote for the public benefit the general advancement of the science and art of structural engineering in any or all of its branches and to facilitate the exchange of information and ideas relating to structural engineering amongst members of the Institution and otherwise.
