02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The charity now operates on a voluntary basis with no paid staff. 5 Trustees administer the garden, and the garden is open to all to come, voluteer, socialize or simply enjoy the atmosphere and beauty of the garden. Lunch is provided for free, no questions asked, and we foster a supportive, caring environment that allows all attendees to benefit from the theraputic nature of the garden, and the community. We give back to the community through our education and the produce we provie.

Constitutional objectives
4.1 The advancement of education through the provision of supportive work environment and training in horticulture for excluded groups of people, particularly those suffering from mental health problems 4.2 The advancement of citizenship and community development by restoring and maintaining natural landscapes, access paths and community gardens which are open to the general public 4.3 Advancement of health through providing opportunities for social interaction and physical exercise through gardening activities 4.4 Advancement of environmental protection and improvement through maintaining and developing community garden, maintaining woodland paths and maintaining and restoring the natural environment.
