02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Our charity is set up to provide girls aged 7 to 10 with opportunities to learn new skills, develop confidence, make friends and have fun in a safe and supportive environment. Through a varied programme of activities, games, crafts, outdoor learning, community involvement and teamwork, we help girls build resilience, independence and leadership skills. We are led by trained volunteers and encourage our members to challenge themselves, contribute to their local community and enjoy new experiences in line with the values of Girlguiding.
