What the charity exists to do

we are set up to undertake the development and operation of projects that are consistent with our charitable objectives.

Constitutional objectives

a) To relieve poverty among the residents within Braemar. b) To manage community land and associated assets for the benefit of the people of Braemar and the public in general following principles of sustainable development, where sustainable development means development which meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs, by inter alia pursuing opportunities for economic growth through sensitive development of the natural environment. c) To advance environmental protection or improvement including preservation, and conservation of the natural environment, the promotion of sustainable development, the maintenance, improvement or provision of environmental amenities for the community andlor the preservation of buildings or sites of architectural, historic or other importance to the community, by inter alia exploring and developing district heating, waste management and other environmental opportunities. d) To advance community development, including urban or rural regeneration, following principles of sustainable development, where 'sustainable development' means development which meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs e) To provide, or assist in providing, recreational facilities, and/or organising recreational activities, which will be available to members of the public at large with the object of improving the conditions of life of the people of Braemar and following principles of sustainable development, where 'sustainable development' means development which meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs by, inter alia sustaining and developing amenities and services within Braemar. 9 To advance education of the natural and built environment amongst the inhabitants of Braemar. g) To promote the protection of the environment and conservation of fauna
