02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Crear Space to Create exists to advance arts and culture in general but with a particular focus being given to Argyll. We have a special emphasis on bringing education in arts , heritage and culture to children and youth in the local areas . This usually takes the form of an annual series of concerts which brings world class musicians to Crear . The entrance fee for concert audience members is exceptionally low and indeed admittance is free for school children . Masterclasses and workshops are also held at Crear as are displays of artworks inspired by Crear . Participants in workshops come to Crear from all corners of the world . Crear is also used as a recording studio . On occasions the visiting musicians also visit local schools .

Constitutional objectives
(a) The advancement of the arts, heritage, and culture throughout the world with particular attention in the first place being given to Argyll and the United Kingdom with initial activities therefore commencing in those areas (hereinafter referred to as the 'areas') (b) The advancement of education of the public in the arts, culture and heritage, with particular attention in the first place being given to children and youth in the areas. (c) The advancement of citizenship and community development in the areas. (d) The provision of recreational facilities and the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended. (e) The advancement of environmental protection or improvement in the areas. I (9 All such other purposes without restriction as the law shall from time to time regard as charitable that may be regarded as analogous to any of the preceding purposes.
