02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

The purpose of the charity is to help and support men affected by cancer, and their relatives and friends, that live in the Outer Hebrides. The principle ongoing activity of the group is the weekly ‘drop-in’ sessions held in the Failte Centre, Stornoway every Friday afternoon. These are well attended by members of the group and supporters. The charity provides grants and donations to individual cancer patients and their families.
