02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
We specialise in researching and practically applying our knowledge to managing natural resources, looking through the lens of climate change and its mitigation. In particular, we are acknowledged specialists in the restoration of peat bogs and, in addition to planning projects collaborating with landowners of all types, we hold practical training sessions for land and machinery operators. We engage with communities through arts and education and collaborate with other NGOs both within our region and beyond.
