What the charity exists to do
To promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in music and in particular banjo, mandolin and guitar music and other associated instruments. a) To promote the music of banjos, mandolins and guitars to the inhabitants of the United Kingdom b) To encourage interest in the named instruments and to assist in the musical and instrumental education of banjo, mandolin and guitar players c) To encourage all levels and abilities of players to join a fretted instrument orchestra, including the young, elderly and disabled citizens of the United Kingdom d) To provide information, support and assistance to the public and to members of the Federation in all matters relating to the named instruments e) To organize events which will further the objects of the Federation.
