Constitutional objectives
The income of the Fund or so much thereof as may be required shall be applied in accordance with the directions of the Committee in making grants to employees, qualified ex-employees and their wives children and other dependants who in the opinion of the Committee shall be in need of or be deserving of financial assistance with a preference being maintained for an employee or qualified ex-employee of the Company or any wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company or a dependant of any such employee or qualified ex-employee. Provided that any part or parts of the corpus of the Fund not exceeding in the whole the sum of five hundred pounds in any one year may in the discretion of the committee from time to time be raised and applied as aforesaid as Income of the Fund.
