02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
We share our beliefs and teach people about the Christian faith. We encourage people who want to know more to attend our regular meetings for bible study, worship and prayer. We engage with members of our community through our coffee shop which is ran entirely by volunteers from our church and wider community. We identify what needs are within our local community and strive to help meet these needs. Whether it be setting up a free professional counseling service for those struggling with mental health issues or helping people practically with gifts of food, paying for their utilities or providing a safe place for people to come to for friendship and advice. Working in partnership with organisations such as Street Connect we offer support, counselling and rehabilitation opportunities for individuals who require this service.
