02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

CentreStage exists to transform lives and communities through the arts. Our work is shaped by five core social aims, delivered in collaboration with a wide range of partner organisations. Many of these partners are based within the CentreStage Village in the heart of Kilmarnock – a community-led whole-system approach where over 3,500 people from Ayrshire and beyond come together every week

(d) The relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage. (e) Any other purpose that may reasonably be regarded as analogous to any of the preceding purposes
