02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The objective of the Trust is to provide scholarships for former pupils of Loretto School and bursaries for current pupils. The activities of the Trust are to fulfil these objectives by investing in securities and prudently distributing the income from this in line with the Trusts grant making policy.

Constitutional objectives
The Trustees shall apply the net income of the Trust Fund in awarding Bursaries to pupils of Loretto School who are leaving the School to enter upon a course of study in any Faculty of any University in or furth of Scotland in order to assist in their support and further education.
