02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
EDFAS is a charity with the belief that the arts enrich lives. Our educational fine arts lectures and events programmes bring like minds together. The money we receive from Gift Aid plus any surplus on events is available for charitable donations, primarily aimed at young people, arts education and specific projects at local institutions. Our members contribute to preserve our artistic heritage through volunteering and assisting in educational institutions across the city. We hope that our work creates a better, healthier and more connected society.
