02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The focus of our activities remains working with Columba 1400 and the Levenmouth Academy, to nurture young leaders and to provide valuable lifelong learning experiences for local young people. During the year we funded a course for young people from the Levenmouth Academy to attend.

Constitutional objectives
The purposes of the Trust are for:- (a) the advancement of education by the development of capabilities, skills and understanding of individuals of secondary school age, living or being educated in the Levenmouth area of Fife. (b) the organisation of recreational and developmental activities in Scotland or elsewhere primarily with the object of improving the condition of life for the individuals for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended, and only in relation to recreational and development facilities or activities which are primarily intended for individuals who have need of them by reason of financial hardship or other disadvantage, and thus providing public benefit by their advancement of awareness, focus, creativity, integrity, perseverance and service and by so doing generating opportunities for the young people of the Levenmouth area and providing lasting benefit to the Levenmouth community.
