What the charity exists to do

To promote the benefits of the inhabitants and people of Strathaven and the surrounding areas, and in particular the advancement of environment protection or improvement, support the advance of education, the furtherance of health and relief of poverty, sickness and distress by supporting community based projects and other related services by - Promoting and organising community events, co-operating with other agencies and organisations in identifying and supporting community based projects in need of additional support and assistance, and raising and distributing funds to finance pursuits, activities and projects in the furtherance of the objects
