02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
We are part of The Boys' Brigade and meet on Friday evenings from September to May. The Anchor Boy section is for boys in primary 1 to 3. The Junior section is for boys in primary 4 to 6. The Company & Seniors sections are for boys in primary 7 and secondary school. Activities at BB all fall under the following headings: Get Active - Playing Games, Playing Sport, Keeping Fit, Working as a Team, Me and my Wellbeing. Get Adventurous - My Survival Skills, Exploring the world around me, Adventure Activities, Visits and Trips. Get Creative - Singing, Acting and Dancing, Arty and Crafty, In the Kitchen, Playing and Making Music. Get into the Bible - My Bible Adventure, Prayer, Celebrating, Developing My Faith, Understanding Christian Values. Get Involved - Protecting our World, Shaping our World, Helping Others. Get Learning - Me and my World, STEM (Science, Tech, Engineering and Maths), My Skills for Life, Understanding Culture and Tradition, Staying Safe, Problem Solving.
