02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
We work to prevent and control tuberculosis, lung disease and NCDs as well as other related health problems on a worldwide basis, with a particular emphasis on low income countries. We do this by working on joint projects with our parent charity in France, in particular by organising world health conferences, publications and fundraising.

Constitutional objectives
The objects of the Charity are the advancement of education, the advancement of health, the saving of lives and the reduction of premature deaths by conducting research, providing training, developing policy, offering technical assistance in the provision of health solutions and by seeking to strengthen health systems, in relation to tuberculosis, lung disease and non-communicable diseases (hereinafter referred to as ''NCDs'') and their risk factors, including but not limited to respiratory diseases, cardiovascular diseases, cancers and diabetes.
