Advancing and promoting Health and Social needs of the Sikh-Asian elderly and providing a facility in which they can meet and enjoy each others company

Constitutional objectives

The Associations Objectives Are: a) To advance and promote Health and Social needs of Sikh/Asian elderly and provide a facility in which they can meet and enjoy each other's company b) Helping Sikh/Asian elderly to access other services, including housing, welfare, social work and other relevant agencies from which the Sikh/Asian elderly community can benefit with a view to combating and alleviating their social exclusion and isolation c) To raise awareness about the complex Sikh/Asian social structure and culture both within the community and externally d) Promote and raise awareness in the Sikh/Asian youth in participating in elderly care forum e) the advancement of the arts, heritage, culture or science in relation to Sikhism in the UK and its contributions to the fabric of UK society as a whole
