The Company's objects are to: promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Edinburgh and environs (the 'Community') without distinction of sex, sexuality, political and religious or other opinions by providing facilities, or assist in the provision of facilities, in the interest of social welfare for recreation and other leisure-time occupation so that their conditions of life may be improved. promote for the benefit of residents of the Community, community participation in healthy recreation by the provision and management of community facilities for playing sports
