02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

We are a voluntary led charity that provide social inclusion & recreational services to some of the most vulnerable adults within our community & their carers/loved ones, these social events/activities helps to improve their mental health & well being, essentially breaking down the barriers of social isolation for many. We meet once a week (Tuesday between 11am-2pm at Inchgarth Community Centre) for a social group, where we get together & enjoy ourselves with various things happening. Aside from the Tuesday group, we arrange day trips & attend other social events. We also do fundraising events which we try & get as many of our members involved in so that they can feel part of the community. We are very much user led so like to get as many of our membership involved in what the charity is doing.
