Constitutional objectives
The objects for which the Association is established are as follows. a) To promote the general welfare of, and work to enhance the quality of life of all elderly people who are members of the Association by providing opportunities for physical and mental recreation. encouraging healthy living by relieving isolation and loneliness. b) To signpost members of the Association to information and advice related to their health, safety and welfare, older peoples' services and their statutory rights. c) To represent the informed views of the association to voluntary, community and statutory agencies and services with a view to furthering the objects of the Association. d) To organise and/or facilitate for the members, opportunities for gatherings, excursions and events with social, cultural entertainment and/or educational purposes.
