02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Music in Rannoch is a society aimed mainly at classical music lovers and puts on a series of six chamber music concerts per year. The players who come to perform at the venue, Rannoch Church of Scotland, are mainly Scotland-based, and are all highly talented professional musicians. Concert goers have the option of purchasing a ticket at the door on the evening of the concert, or paying in advance for the whole series of concerts on an annual subscription basis.

(b) the advancement of local professional music performance, the provision of facilities therefore and the encouragement of high standards. (c) the provision of a recreational facility for persons resident in a remote area who cannot readily travel to distant city venues at affordable cost, and for the public at large in what is also a tourist area.
