02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The 22nd Perthshire Scout Group, based in Perth, Scotland, is part of Scouts Scotland and is dedicated to the development of young people aged 6–18 through fun, challenge, and adventure. Our aim is to help young people grow in confidence, learn valuable life skills, and become responsible, active citizens. We do this by offering a wide range of activities including outdoor adventures, camping, community service, and skills-based learning. Our group is open to all, and we work to ensure that financial hardship does not prevent participation. Run entirely by volunteers, we are committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for every young person.
