02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
We help our members through weekly meetings to discus any problems that may have come up we also try to have some one to one with anyone who has had a bad week with a family member who has an addiction, we have a caravan at Berwick Upon Tweed caravan park which we use for respite for our members so they can have a weeks holiday away from the stress of home life, at times we also arrange for a massage therapist to come to our meetings.

Constitutional objectives
To give information, advice, assistance, counselling and facilities to relatives/friends of people who use drugs. To promote a better quality of life for relatives/friends of drug users, including the promotion of leisure and educational facilities etc. To build up a network of support to drug users and their relatives/friends by associating with local services, organisations and inhabitants etc. To assist in the rehabilitation of the drug user. To assist in prevention activities. If there is a 'Centre': To secure the development, maintenance and management of the Centre for the carrying out of the activities of the Group in the promotion of the above aims and objectives.
