02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

People's Postcode Trust supports smaller charities and good causes in Scotland to make a difference to their community for the benefit of people and planet. People's Postcode Trust operates it's own society lottery and receives all its funding from the players of People's Postcode Lottery. As more players join People's Postcode Lottery, more funds are distributed to People's Postcode Trust and made available for the Trust to award to good causes.

Constitutional objectives

OBJECTS 3. The Company is incorporated for charitable objects and purposes only with the intention of providing public benefit in Scotland or elsewhere, and in particular the Company is established to promote: (i) The prevention or relief of poverty.
