02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

We are a community transport provider based in Pollok in Glasgow. We provide safe, affordable and wheelchair-accessible Minibus Hire to third sector organisations across Glasgow and the surrounding areas. Our registered groups include specialist schools, parent and toddler groups, youth groups, elderly groups, and charities supporting those with physical/mental health challenges, disabilities or are fighting addiction. We help these groups visit a wide range of locations and for different purposes. Journeys can range from the daily commute to school for young people with special needs, taking adults with diagnosed mental health issues to fitness classes and art classes, and taking elderly groups to dancing classes, day trips and activity sessions. We also operate a Patient Transport Service which allows hundreds of individuals, with no access to a car and unable to use public transport (but not eligible for NHS ambulance support) to reach their vital healthcare appointments safe
