02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The encouragement and advancement of public participation in outdoor activities be they recreational. educational or environmental. The aim of the trust will be to provide a facility which will support a wide range of activities within the Gatehouse of Fleet area and engender a greater feeling of community spirit. It will actively promote activities for all age groups, all abilities including disability sport, all ethnic and religious backgrounds. Whilst the ground will be maintained by the Cricket Club for their sport they will at the same time make provisions for all the other organisations wanting to use the facility.

Especially those who want space to enjoy their outdoor activity and are not well catered for elsewhere in Gatehouse b) The encouragement and advancement of public participation in outdoor activities be they recreational, educational or environmental. The aim will be to provide a facility which will support a wide range of activities within Gatehouse of Fleet and engender a greater feeling of community spirit across the age groups. It will actively promote activities for all ages group abilities and creeds whilst the ground will be maintained by the Cricket Club for their sport they will at the same time make provisions for all organisations wanting to use the facility, especially those that want space to enjoy their outdoor activity.
