The advancement of community development for the social and economic benefit of crofting in the Uists of the Western Isles. the advancement of and research into the natural sciences relating to crofting. and the advancement of environmental protection and preservation of the habitat and land used in crofting including ttie promotion of sustainable development of crofting land.
