02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

The charity works in raising of donations and funds, it assists rural communities in northern Ghana in supporting a primary and high school. training rural Pastors in theology. and equipment for women’s shea butter cooperatives. Where possible it works in partnership with other charitable focussed organisations. In the Scotland, the charity works closely with Trade Right International CiC to offer employability programmes to people who are marginalised through offending, addiction, or poor mental health.

Constitutional objectives

3.1.1 To bring about the transformation of disadvantaged local communities by combating poverty and encouraging economic development through the practical outworking of the Christian faith by meeting physical, emotional, relational and spiritual needs through the provision of aid, education, trade, training, advocacy, and all activities directly or indirectly ancillary thereto including, without prejudice to the foregoing generality:- (a) the relied of poverty, sickness and suffering throughout the world by establishing partnerships with indigenous groups and co-coperatives. (b) the organisation of strong co-operation on a global level between individuals, communities, churches and other agencies. (c) the advancement and promotion of education. (d) the mobilisation of individuals, communites, churches and other agencies to become more involved. (e) the development of training courses and seminars. (f) the distribution of information about needs and activities among individuals, communities, churches and other agencies. (g) fundraising. (h) the publishing and dissemination of information and materials
