02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Kelvin Choir is a community choir which is set up to encourage and share the enjoyment of communal singing and to share the love of music by performing to the local community. Through our rehearsals, we aim to provide an element of training in voice, breathing and music sight-reading. Additionally the social interaction is an important feature for many members, the combined impact being of benefit to mental health and wellbeing.

Constitutional objectives
The objects of the Sociaty shall be to develop and encourage the study, performance and appreciation of musical works through concert, community involvement and education.
