What the charity exists to do
To provide direct funding and support for research on advancing the treatment of and identifying a cure for Leukaemia. This funding will be provided by way of arbitrary grants, direct funding of medical staff, purchase of required equipment and other resources.Additionally the Howat Foundation will support other charitable organisations in the UK and overseas that are involved in.a) The prevention of cruelty to children and relief of child povertyb) The advancement of health and awareness.c) The saving of livesd) The advancement of public participation in sporte) The advancement of environmental protection or improvementf) The relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage.g) The advancement of animal welfareh) Any other purpose that may reasonably regarded as analogous to any of theproceeding purposes.
