02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
We are set up to provide educational, creative and leisure opportunities for our membership. We draw upon the skills, knowledge and expertise of our members to provide the courses and activity groups requested by them. Courses and activity groups available include art, foreign languages, photography, horticulture, crafts, reading for pleasure, sign language, history and walking plus others such as golf, family history, yoga and table tennis. These are part of over thirty activities that are available to our membership.
