02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
We continue to develop youth through the teaching of music. Both bands are committed to progressing talent, playing at various events and competing at local and national competitions.

Constitutional objectives
The object of The Band shall be to promote pipe band culture and to maintain a bond of fellowship and mutual interest amongst its members. Through its continuing commitment to a youth development policy and sustenance of our musical heritage, The Band endeavours to provide tuition in the arts of piping and drumming to all within the wider community. The Band will ensure that no applicant receives less favourable treatment on the grounds of race, colour, nationality, religion, ethnic origin, gender sexual orientation, marital status or disability.
