Constitutional objectives

The company's objects are:- 4.1 To provide recreational facilities, and organise recreational activities within the Townhead area of Glasgow ('the Operating Area') as defined by the following postcodes: G1 2BG, Part of G1 2BQ, G1 2TD, G1 2TE, G1 2TF, Part of G2 3NW, G4 0BH, G4 0BJ, G4 0BL, G4 0DP, G4 0ET, Part of G4 0JE, G4 0LJ, Part of G4 0NJ, Part of G4 0NT, G4 0NY, G4 0NZ, G4 0PA, G4 0PB, G4 0PD, G4 0PE, G4 0PF, G4 00PG, G4 0PH, G4 0PJ, G4 0PL, G4 0PN, G4 0PP, G4 0PQ, G4 0PR, G4 0PS, G4 0PU, G4 0PW, G4 0PX, Part of G4 0RD where such facilities/activities are available to the public at large with the object of improving their conditions of life. 4.2 To advance community development within the Operating Area. 4.3 To advance education among the residents of the Operating Area. 4.4 To promote training and skills of all kinds, particularly such skills as will assist residents in the Operating Area in obtaining paid employment. 4.5 To advance public participation in sport among residents of the Operating Area. 4.6 To relieve those who are in need by reason of age, ill health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage and who are residents within the Operating Area. 4.7 To promote, establish, operate and/or support other similar schemes and projects which further charitable purposes, for the benefit of the residents of the Operating Area.
