02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Our choir includes singers of all ages and provides a community open to anyone with a desire to sing, as long as they are curious to explore new music. With regularly scheduled concerts around Christmas and spring-summer time, our choir works to develop performances that include musical numbers popular with our loyal audience, such as Ukrainian Christmas carols and Christian Orthodox liturgical pieces, intermixed with new additions selected by the musical director, such as music from the Baltic States and the Balkans, including pieces never performed in the UK to date.

Constitutional objectives
The objects of the Society shall be to promote, develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of choral singing in all its aspects, with particular emphasis on the music of Eastern Europe.
