(ii) the general advancement of education including in particular but without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing the furthering of a greater understanding of the progress of civilisation and of the social economic and legal principles necessary to better society and the fostering and promotion of teaching in ecology in the preservation and extension of public amenities and in the improvement of the environment (iii) such other exclusively charitable purposes for the benefit of mankind generally or of particular communities as the Founder or after his death the Trustees shall from time to time in writing direct
