What the charity exists to do
The aim of DGDS is to promote inclusive opportunities in sport and physical activity across our region, support athletes, coaches, and volunteers at every level, work with schools, clubs, and local authorities to make sport accessible to all and to celebrate ability over disability, creating pathways from participation to performance

Constitutional objectives
To promote the aims of Scottish Disability Sport. To co-ordinate, develop and promote sport and physical activity opportunities for all people with a physical, sensory or learning disability within Dumfries and Galloway. To identify, nurture and support the development of talented athletes. To raise the profile of sport and physical activity for people with a disability within Dumfries and Galloway.
