02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Cambus and District Bowling Club is set up to provide sporting and recreational facilities for its members and guests. The Club competes in National, Local, Internal competitions and have weekly friendly matches with other bowling clubs from the surrounding districts. The club offers its facilities to others as there is no other facilities in the village.

The objects of the club shall be: A: To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Cambus & District and surrounding areas by providing facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants B: To advance public participation in sport by promoting & providing opportunities for public participation at a range of levels. C: Cambus & District Bowling Club shall be non-political and non-sectarian.
